  7. There are two sides to the story, two sides of a coin, and
  8. two ways to face the day.
  9.  
  10. There are always the prophets of doom and the cynics who
  11. will be happy to lead their followers through long periods of
  12. drought and famine.
  13.  
  14. When an unfortunate individual starts blaming his own
  15. failures on others, and on conditions over which he has no
  16. control, he can usually forget about achieving his goals.
  17.  
  18. There are good times and bad times, but at all times there
  19. are sales that are made and sales that are lost.
  20.  
  21. You have all proven that you are not only capable, but excel
  22. as salesmen.  I am proud of the accomplishments of our sales
  23. force and know that nothing can hold back the motivated
  24. individual who has an excellent product to sell.

  26. In the months to come, I feel confident that you will
  27. persevere in a manner that will result in an increase in
  28. sales and commissions to each and every one of you that will
  29. far exceed our projections.
